Re: White Knight Chronicles Dissappointing

ok you seriously missed the point of this game, the campaign is considered by players as a tutorial. the main fun is online questing, u taking 22 hours on the tutorial, well thats a pretty long one, and the whole game is a intro to the series, tbh it leaves a big cliff hanger, and introduces most of the characters, thats basically what has happened with this game, and you say u wana do the online, the do it, u might struggle now because many people are high GR, and u say about the circle combat system, its different its unique, it needs work regarded but isn't to bad, its worth buying if you like online questing with friends, i like how theyv'e chosen a different sort of combat system i cant think of any game with one like it, which is better than just following all the crap that most rpg's do which is compare themselves to FF series games, tbh for me the main fault of this game was the bug where you sometimes get hit from very far away when running from creatures, regarding that this is annoying yes, its a small bug that effects gameplay minimally, and you say its easy..... you've played the campaign, get ur ass online get some leveling get to the later quests, and you'll begin to struggle, I've seen many people struggle to get into a good rhythm with King of Dragons 1 until they practice, you've given your opinion on a lil play and in single player, i'll tell u what if i had an rpg itch of recent, that would be the game to scratch it, over 160 hours of online play, so i can say honestly, this game has depth in play and gets very interesting in the later stages of playing

DZ can you tell me a bit more about the online, I completed the 1 player and thought it was pretty good but not challenging in the slightest.
But when i tried the online it was a little annoying it worked well but the quests were boring as hell, go to A attack creature B, creature moves to C, kill creature at C.
Same things over and over plus it's meant to be co-op, but had the typical no one speaks on PSN experince so after 6 hours on line I got rid. You played it for longer how did it get better?

Re: White Knight Chronicles Dissappointing

Not watched it yet, but if you hope to be good at this STOP apologising!

The lighting doesnt matter, and please dont tell me your parents are asleep you are speaking clearly enough anyway.

I have a mate thats a serial apologiser and its just grating, fair enough do it at the end if something has went wrong but never start anything by apologising, its unprofessional and makes you look worse.

Re: White Knight Chronicles Dissappointing

really? i had quite a few people that talked who i played with, it ahs its grind fest moments, but i usually took the mix up the quests slow approach and found it reasonably fun, it can be very challenging to get the higher level armor too, so it leaves u with goals, for the first installment of its series i think they have done brilliantly, i've already looked into WKC2 a bit, and it looks brill too, there sticking partys up to 6 players aswell. and the single player wasn't challenging like i said later on in the game of playing online...... thats when it gets really challenging, and thats when you'll have to work together, it really starts to come together in the later guild ranks, i havn't been on it in a while but theyv'e been adding new quests for a while now, and will be till either late june or july, im not saying u wont have ur grind moments, but lets be honest...... rpg's are expected to have their fair share of grind time. but its a great game, u jus need 2 put the time in to it to get to the good parts

Re: White Knight Chronicles Dissappointing

This is interesting cuz I am a big fan of RPG's but I still don't know what to think about this game. WKC has had bad reviews from most gaming sites including IGN and Gamespot. See below.

http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/106/1066138p1.html

http://uk.gamespot.com/ps3/rpg/whiteknightstory/index.html

It has been due to the bad reviews that I have refrained from playing it. However, there are a few ppl in my friends list that seem to play WKC quite excessively. I like Demon's Souls which has a reputation for being a hard RPG with online experience so by comparison I would imagine WKC would be quite boring.

In terms of your video review it would have been nice to see actual gameplay footage and heard comments on that footage to show why the controls were not good or quests tedious and easy, etc.

Re: White Knight Chronicles Dissappointing

ok ill give u the main reason for these bad reviews, like iv'e explained the game has depth so u have 2 play before u get there, reviewers obv dont have that kinda time, and also the other thing is many just mainly fault it for the bug where u sometimes get hit at long range if u run away from a creature, if u like rpg's this is worth a buy

Re: White Knight Chronicles Dissappointing

Not a bad review for a 1st attempt, I did think that the game was that bad though a bit more about the mechanics of the game would be good.

You are right about how easy it is, it's so easy the conbinations and different spells became practically redundant.

PS where did u get all the game posters?
