I gave up when you find out who Atlas is. My bro raved about it like it was created by God or something, so I borrowed his Xbox to play it. I didn't really like it rom the start and he just told me it gets better and I persevered with it. Gave up eventually, I just couldn't be bothered.

The first one I thought was repetitive with all the find this and find that. The 1st half was amazing, but the 2nd half was really frustrating simply because I had to find items.

Playing as a Big Daddy does look promising and Big Sisters... Mmm...

Protecting Little Sisters for Adam. That was a pain in the backside on the 1st Bioshock and I don't see it being any fun doing it with much more enemies.

Not a first day buy but I'll get it when the price lowers. Sorry for the childish rant.

Oh ok then. I thought you had only played upto Neptune's Bounty and the story doesn't get going until the end of there but if you played upto Ryan's office then ye, you definitely just didn't like it. I do recommend trying it again on hard or survivor though as it becomes far more tactical then.

and whoever said about collecting items, that is because there is genuine reasons to collect the items and you are shown exactly where to go (for lot 141 *spoiler warning* it is to break Atlas'/Fontaine's mind control, in Arcadia you must get the Lazarus Vector to restore the trees (or else there will be no oxygen in Rapture, as the trees provide the oxygen to all of Rapture and in Hepheasus you need the pieces to build a bomb which will overload Ryan's Office's defence system and allow you to get to Ryan)

I do agree with you though that the second half of the game (after Ryan) is worse then the first half.

And whoever said you shot little girls *shame*, you do not, ever, ever shoot little girls in the game (you can "harvest" them, but the screen blanks out and you can "save" them which is what most people generally do). And the demo (and the first two levels actually) is far more horror focused then the rest of the game as you are being introduced to how Rapture operates and why it went to hell.
