Threads with questions like this always get the gears turning in my head, i really dont want to give an answer im not truely happy with, so after the rusty cogs in my head turning for a while i came to the conclusion that my favourite game overall (of the current generation) has to be......... Bioshock, with mirrors edge a close second.

Modern Warfare 2 ...tsk tsk ..... but for me Populous the Beginning hands down

When you talk about games it has to be games that invoke great memories.

Final Fantays VI and VII oh and Anarchy Online (in its prime)

With huge soft spot for the original Mario Cart, Zelda and Micro Machines.  Not to forget Metal Gear Solid God of War, Elite, Ultima, SSI D&D games liek pools of radiance..   I could go on, it would be imposible for me to name one game..   Ive been playing games for 25 years so much has come and gone in that time and so many games I loved in that time..   Most ofthe games i loved most of you will have never have heard of.

Difficult to answer; it depends on which mood I'm in.

But the Fallout series (I only played 1 and 2 so far), Baldur's Gate series, the Uncharted series, Bioshock, and Paradroid (C64), are among the games I would consider "The Best".
