2 WIRELESS HEADSETS AT ONCE ON PS3?

Hi guys im looking into getting 2 pair of wireless headsets for the tv at night as we mainly watch blu rays on ps3 so my question is can 2 bluetooth wireless headsets be set up on ps3 at once? or if not can someone recommend a good pair for the tv cheers guys.

i think so, yes. i am not sure how, but i think the PS3 can have 7 dualshock controllers connected via bluetooth at once. This goes down to 4 i think with the official headset on (takes 3 channels i assume), so in theory, u can have 2 headsets and 1 controller... i think...

if thats true i may aswell just get 2 good blutooth ps3 headsets for gaming/movies will be great for both then can anyone def tell me though if it does work before i purchase 2 and can someone link me to some good ones for both gaming/movies for around £40-50 a pair plz cheers :smileyhappy:

You can't use Bluetooth For GAME or FILM audio. 

 

You need Hardwired optical/phono feed or High powered RF headsets.

These have been around long before the BT fad came along.

RF heads sets have the power for full 5.1 Audio and work at a lot longer ranges but these devices require a base station to broadcast from which needs to be wired up to the audio feeds.

 

Also  Unlike the Sony RF headset Multi headsets can be used it you buy different brands to avoid RF interference from each other. 

(just don't try to microwave some chips while using the RF headsets as it can be the cause of interference. )

agghhh i see so blutooth out of question then lol thanks for help im not tech savvy on all this audio stuff.

 

So u recommend a old fashioned rf wireless headphones for tv then would that be better? i presume u can still listen to ps3 if into tv only problem is never seen them in a pair just on there own can anyone link me to some good rf wireless headphones for tv?
