3D Gaming - Looking Back

So - you've all no doubt heard about Sony's announcement of a 3D TV Channel over in the US, many journo's and media buffs are citing 3D technology as the big thing of the coming decade.

Naturally this is all ridiculously exciting for us gamers - 3D imaging will allow us to experience game immersion like never before. We've already seen technical demonstartions of MotorStorm Pacific Rift and others in 3D and if you reacted like I did you probably had to make a swift change of underwear...

What we really want to know from you is this: If you were to lovingly remake a PlayStation game in 3 stunning dimensions... which game would you remake?

Let us know by posting the name of the game in bold along with your reasons why it would make for jaw dropping 3D gaming. We'll pick some of the best quotes and put together a top 10 for an article on PlayStation.com (We'll credit you as the author too!).

Me? Final Fantasy VII. Bahamut in 3D? Yes please!

Got to really think about this one.

EDIT:

Alright, first thing that comes to mind is Uncharted2! All those explosions, things flying at the screen, the first train scene with parts of it falling down and some parts of the cliff while the camera view is looking up! Not too mention the only way to make U2 more beautiful is to make it in 3D!

Oh! and Killzone2! Another action packed game that would look amazing in 3D, give me some 3DKZ2 anyday!

MODERN WARFARE 2

I new its a new game, but you play call of duty online till a new one comes out.MODERN WARFARE 2 would be so cool in 3D,the bullets flyin at you, grenade at your feet, the weather, like rain could be coming out at you.Would make Call Of Duty Online experince even better,is that possible ?

I take it multiplats are acceptable...

The SSX Series

Remastered at 60FPS 1080p in full 3D would be rather good, the course rushing by around you, snow kicking up in the wake of the board, points and combos smacking you in the face. Make it so MB, make it so.

Uncharted 2 - The chance to be able to feel like you're in the best game on PS3? Incredible.

Re: 3D Gaming - Looking Back

FINAL FANTASY VII - The stunning visuals that were acheiveable with PS1 c'mon who wouldn't want those on PS3 and in 3D they would simply blow your mind away!!

The Enviroments in 3D would be like looking at our own world except pretty much ingame:smileytongue:

Ultimate Weapon enough said there XD

materia evolving could be remastered to show materia changing in small cutscene now this in 3D = sheer awesomesauceness

A game that defined a console a game that defined a genre a game that defined a company none of this matters it was the game that defined me

A classic such as this deserves the 3D experience
