As the title says just checked new update available just downloading now.
Features:
1. The Internet browser has been improved, which optimizes the display of content and increases the accuracy when viewing page layouts. Some sites that previously could not be correctly displayed, including interactive websites, are now supported..
2. Every time your PS3 system to connect to PlayStation ® Network (PSN) you can precisely set via the Internet. For this you go into the XMB (XrossMediaBar) on [Settings]> [Date and Time Settings] [Automatic Settings]
3. PSN account will be renamed Sony Entertainment Network account. The registration process and the credentials will remain the same.
4. If you use the Sony Wireless Stereo Headset you can now hear yourself in the head phones.
In order to download PS3 system software version 4.10 requires at least 180 MB of free space on the PS3 Hard Disk Drive (System Update) or on removable storage media (PC Update).

Ok, just download this.. way to go sony.. The last update gave us the english language setting under " system language options " & as we all know it was broke. Choosing it made any internet searches come back in japanese. Now after update 4.10, half of any internet searches I do are in german if my system is set to united states english... & still choosing traditional english makes all searches still come back in japanese ( not fixed & now worse ). So what are us english speaking people meant to choose now eh?

The web browser seems much improved and I am impressed so far! It has been a long time in coming lol But thanks Sony
The only website I couldn't use was for my banking because it said the browser wasn't supported. But every other website I have been to seems much improved
I am going to go see if I can now use the creation centre for Fifa 12. I doubt that will work but here's hoping! Thanks again Sony ![]()

On the Statistics page it says "Browser used for Last Visit- Mozilla/5.0 (PLAYSTATION 3 4.10)"
Does that mean the PS3 Browser is Mozilla??? Was it that before the update?
Every browser ID has a mozilla standard number.
PS3 has allways been a custom build of netfront mixing webkit and java script levels to match the security levels Sony wanted for a Closed HDD.
Was Mozilla/5.0 (PLAYSTATION 3 1.00 and still is...
