Just a warning, Beware anyone that uses 4 On Demand (UK Users Only), It is very unstable, crashed the PS3 and sometimes when the PS3 does come back on it says the settings database or something is corrupt. This has done it on both my PS3's and one of the PS3's asked to send a report.

Rather than Channel4 send the crap to a browser, perhaps actually make a bloody program for the PS3 that actually works.

I find the PS3 crashes when it tries to swap between every advertisement.

I don't use 4OD in the TV section because it's running on the old browser. 

What i do is use it via the browser open 4OD as normal press select then add to bookmarks. 

Go to the browser then access 4OD via the bookmark not the tv section runs a lot better.

Why can't we have a real app like the 360 has.

The 360 doesn't have a browser, hence the dedicated app. PS3 doesn't need the app as it has a browser that works with the service.

Simple really.

If you use 4OD in the newer browser you shouldn't get any problems. The 4OD in the the tv section is basically a browser bookmaker but on the old browser. 

I think the old browser was left in for ITV player but that now works in the new FW 4.10 browser. 

I expect the tv section browser to change in a future update the way it handles memory is very poor.

Nope the Old presets was left in for the 14 other IPTV services used in EU. not ITV.

The polish TV Player Streams .mts files in real time only the adverts use flash .

One of spains IPTV players rejects the new browser ID.

40D still working fine here.... No change...since this video..

PS3 streaming option = open 40D bookmark. press start, Type in address to URL bar and pray your connection to dropbox is fast enough and file will stream into PS3 media player.

I thought other regions would still need the old browser i mentioned the probability in the tech boards. 

For the time being i'll carry on using 4OD In FW 4.10 browser. 

I don't want to risk another blue screen of death error getting my system reset to default. 

ITV player on the other hand has never caused me any grief just the memory hogging 4OD via the tv section.

Good fix, thank you. My PS3 has gone from crashing on every ad break during 4OD shows to working smoothly.

I have finally finished watching the remainder of Shameless on 4od, It does work better on the new browser BUT still managed to screw up the database 3 times while doing it as I got the blue screen twice on my slim and once more on my phat. 

You say 4oD does not neet a dedicated app, I disagree. You look at Netflix, it runs with no issues, does not lag, does exactly what it is supposed to do, and you then go to 4oD which takes ages to load, lags like hell, and screws with your PS3.
