... On my way to the PS Store

Upon checking my download list this evening, I find the latest entry to be 'BABEL: The King Of The Blocks'.

This puzzles me as I have never chosen to buy/download this Mini.

Now, I am sure my account has not been hacked, and I have no children to fiddle with my account, and my husband could not care less. Also, the funds on my PS account are as I would expect, and no email being received confirming any purchase.

The only thing I have done differently recently is join PS Plus, and the date of 'purchase', seems to be close to the date where I would have entered the code for a 12-month subscription.

Also, the final piece in this puzzling puzzle, is that I cannot find this Mini on the PS Store Mini listings, although this may be just me not looking properly.

Is this Mini-game a thank-you gift for joining PS Plus? I was not advised of such a freebie being on offer.

Proper little mystery you have there. Hopefully someone here can shed some light. Or your favourite mature gaming forum of course

BABEL: The King Of The Blocks was free to PS+ users in June last year. When did you first join up to PS+? I know if your PS+ sub runs out then you renew it kinda messes with the downloads list order.

Might be best to change your password just in case.

I know I used to get some new games pop up in my list as the PS Plus had downloaded them when it auto updated my PS3..... not sure if it still does it, but it did freak me out a bit when it first happened

This is my first paid-for PS Plus sub. My only other encounter with the service was the free month's sub given to users after the extended PSN outage last year, which I did not continue with after it lapsed.

UPDATE:

I now know for sure the 'download date' shown on the PS Shop downloads listing is the exact same day I entered the 12-month's subscription code into PS Store.
