To be honest I would rather Sony just add some amazing hardware so we can see some amazing look games. The rest is pretty much meaningless to me when I'm surrounded by my computer, laptop, phone etc. As long as it plays games brilliantly thats all I need from the console.

Problem with 'amazing hardware' is that you have to balance that with the initial price for the thing. For example you can create a console so awesome that in 10 years it would still look awesome. But to do that you will have to launch with a very expensive price, or absorb most of it.
