Oh yeah I forgot to add... my mum is 63 and she plays her xbox and playstation 2 xD
She loves Serious Sam and Devil May Cry, rather different than your usual 63 year old retired woman!

My parents are being slowly converted, they got themselves a Wii last year and they love it. My ma also has a DS, she loves the Professor Layton games. My old man is a racing nut so I'll show him GT5 when it is (eventually) released.
I'll make hardcore gamers out of them if I get the chance ![]()

20, caught up with older consoles in late 90's, Amega SNES and Atari, spent a absurd amount of time on Amega playing Pang (anyone remember Pang??) & on the PS1 with Silent Hill
Interesting read seeing lotta varied ages, lil older than expected, one who's mum plays games at age 63 made me smile ![]()

I wouldn't say a lot of adults are "adapting the hobby" so to speak, more like most of us (at least my mates in real life) have been gaming for a lot of years and haven't stopped playing.
