This week, game publisher Electronic Arts have been the victims of an aggressive anti-gay campaign. Reports claim that the company has received  “thousands” of letters of complaint from both protesters and fans.

The uproar is centered around the inclusion of same-sex relationships in both Star Wars: The Old Republic and the already controversial Mass Effect 3... More.

Well people are idiots

Its 2012 and we are meant to be living in a free country. Its not like having some thing in games like this will make people gay. Its also a 15 rated set of games, so why this would be a problem for any one but bigots i just dont know?

As a father of 2 i can tell you that i have no problem with having any thing like this in age appropriet content.

some people need to properly pick their battles harrasing a GAME company about same sex relationships is really clutching a straws to get your point across its a *****ing GAME its NOT REAL i'm pretty sure they don't show anything plus if you don't want your kids getting influenced by these things don't bloody well buy them these types of games for em seriously. (excuse my lack of grammer too lazy on vita)

EA is tackling a modern theme on their games; where people are free to express themselves through same sex relationships. Soon I expect other games to do the same instead of the generic themes being presented at the moment.

I'm sure every single one of those complaints was from some homophobic idiot. I think I know which country probably made up the vast majority of these complaints.
