Re: Anti-Gay Campaign Hits EA

Read the posts here. Interesting reading. I think some were drifting from the point of the O.P a bit. Personally, someone's sexuality has a) Nothing to do with me and b) I am a straight guy, so what do I care if someone is gay or not, it isn't going to affect me.

Time for me to drift off point a little. I think Homophobia maybe about someone who is not comfortable with their own sexuality, or an irrational fear of something they don't understand or based on the false doctrine of a number of 'religious' texts (you know the ones that state that we are all created equally by some god (in their image), yet that same god says that certain people and groups are exempt from being equal with others (happens in all of the major books, so christians, jews and muslims are all as guilty of that I am afraid)) (almost sounds like the failed attempt of practically applying communism, 'some are more equal than others'; then again capitalism doesn't solve this either)); or about something else.

I think we are all entitled to an opinion, the opinion doesn't have to agree with someone else's neccessarily. Sometimes the opinion might even seem offensive to others. I think there is a difference, though, between having an informed opinion and reaching your own conclusion (as best as you can) and an opinion that is only based on what others might say or lack of knowledge that might or might not be accessible to you. Also it is always dangerous to assume that people are telling the truth about anything, there are many con-artists out there (just look at the net, it is chock full of people talking utter sh**).

Saying someone is ignorant for instance isn't good enough if they don't have access to the knowledge that you might have. Assuming you know all there is to know about a certain subject is also most probably going to lead you asunder some time. Anyway, now I am just waffling on.

Back to the O.P.; I think one of the strengths of ME3 was that it catered for different types of romantic tastes, which meant more players felt more included in that aspect of the game.

Gawge.

Unfortunately, what you stated is wrong, completely wrong but I do appreciate the point you were trying to make.

This whole argument is ridiculous. At the end of the day so what? Nobody starts a fire when it is the normal heterosexual relationship but oh no when players are allowed to have a gay relationship it is all disgraceful and all of sudden the children are at risk. Quite frankly, if you don't want to see that kind of thing then just don't bother buying the game ok and give the world a break.

These days everyone wants to open their gob at the slightest thing. And really I couldn't give two *****s about these complaining Christian groups. All they want is some indoctrination; how about you talk to a brick wall because in my eyes there are the same.

You know everything could be so such simpler if people didn't decide to start a vendetta at the slightest thing that they don't agree with but in essence isn't harming anyone. And let's be honest, it's really not harming anyone but people who have the intelligence of a fish or people who take religion as seriously as they take breathing.
