Not sure where else to post this.
Somebody in another comunity recently boasted of having just got 2 new Platinum trophies. Pacific Rift & Apocalypse. Anyone who's played them know that's nigh on impossible, so I did a bit of digging.
I found some quite disturbing stuff:

there isn't a law against making money from idiots.
Though they are breaching a fair amount of Ts&Cs.
Bet those losers don't even change their password afterwards. That would be a really easy way to get money from idiots, then get their psn ID and steal their games.
Not that I'm suggesting this particular fine fellow on ebay is doing that, but you could.

I have the MotorStorm: Pacific Rift Platinum and I earned it legitimately… 
The whole deal with people paying for a trophy earning 'service' has been going on for quite a while now. And as much as I'd like to see something done about it, I know nothing will. The truth is, there's always going to be someone cropping up and doing this kind of thing, no matter how many times they've been warned or what consequences there will be. I think the people paying for someone else to earn trophies for them are the problem, because without them, why would people even bother setting up these 'services'?
Still, I would very much love to see the people partaking in this activity be banned.
