I dunno why but i really enjoy when Sony update the firmware on the ps3.

So seeing as its been a couple of months since the last update, a new update should be on the way with hopefully new features etc

Is anyone looking forward to it or is it just me. lol

P.S. If any mods can give us details of when new firmware might be released that would be great

No i look forwards to physical enjoyable things like new games to play. Why would anyone enjoy some firmware lol?

quite easily actually if it has something someone might enjoy just because you dont care for a new firmware doesnt mean no one else will

So i guess you didn't like it when new firmware allowed you to play divx files, or enabling trophy support, or when bbciplayer was added, or the photo gallery etc etc?

Yes I am actually. I'm interested to see what will come packaged with the next firmware update and I hope it is something exciting.

I actually quite enjoy the hype and the anticipation to see what they do next. The last thing that I liked was the photo gallery

I've heard that the new firmware turns our PS3's into XBoxes!

Would be nice to see the XMB trimmed down again. I think it is down to about 35MB at the moment, if they can make it smaller still that would be great.

Would also like to see an e-mail manager as well that is compatible with POP3
