Im thinking of trading my 320GB in for cash at Gamestation, Any ideas at how much they are paying out ATM? Dont really want to use fleabay, Its full of scam artists now days.

I always use ebay. High street stores just rob you blind.

All i ever seem to get from ebay is, Ok i won now send to nigeria, Or.. oh why did you send me a broken ps3, Or... omg my item never came!!

Cant be doing with it again!

In which case you should always state in your listing you'll only ship with the UK, will always wait for funds to clear from the buyer before shipping and use recorded delivery

If you do those three simple things you'll hardly ever get approached by scammers as you've covered your back against them

you forgot always take down the serial number aswell.

Recorded Del means nothing in regards to a paypal dispute, They will only accept special delivery! Also even after funds have cleared, If it emerges that it was bought on a false or stolen account paypal will hold the money and withdraw it, Leaving the seller out of pocket, I used to run a aquatic business through ebay, I know every trick in the book, I  jacked it in because of this very reason. You get good and bad on there but if it means losing 40% ill choose a legit shop any day of the week!

Recorded delivery means you can take up the issue with Royal Mail and not PayPal.

Royal Mail are a lot easier to settle a dispute with than PayPal

I know every scam too, that's why no scammer has ever gotten the better of me. You can't ***** off eBay because of the dodgy types who use it as eBay is usually the best place to make money as long as you cover your back.

God, they wouldn't be as popular as they are if everyone thought as you do.

Huh? Recorded delivery only covers a maximum of £46 compensation? Or at least it did when i was in the business! And claiming through them is alot harder then paypal IMHO For example i sold a mobile phone to some joker, Good feedback, In the uk etc etc, He claimed broken, returned and stole all the bits, Memory card leads etc, Royal mail cant do jack, Nor can paypal! I got ***** slapped lol.

They'll take it off you and at least give you, your bus fare home.
