As you may not know, Battlefield 3 is more of a Tactical game than the Call Of Duty games.
Where in Call Of Duty, players run round trying to get at many kills as possible, trying to get their gun to the highest camo avalible - In Battlefield 3 that doesnt happen, Battlefield 3 players have to work together to reach the objective required to win the online game mode they have chosen to play. Two teams of 12 players are set off to complete various objectives - for example, capturing all bases, destroying MCOMs and Killing a number of enemies to win the game.
When playing Rush, a game mode similar to Demolition on Call of Duty, once both Alpha and Bravo objectives have been destroyed instead of the game coming to an end a new part of the map opens up and the game resumes. This gives players longer game time. The maps are huge on BT3 and you are able to climb onto or over any obstacle in the map, a rock, fence, what ever it is!!
In Call of Duty their are fixed bounderies around the map stopping players for climbing over obstacles and force to go in a perticular route around the map.

So both games are very similar then yeah? You still have to kill as many people to win the game. Gotcha!
