Ok i was wondering what FPS types to people most enjoy.
Their are 4 groups in my mind
1. On the rail shooter i.e time crisis, ghost squad
2. Run'n'gun Your goal is to get from one point to the other little or no task and kill all enemies i.e resistance.
3.Tactical You have objective your route isn't allwas linear, you have more control i.e cod 4
4. Ultra tactical games where you allmost in an open city you choose which route, choose if you want to kill and enemy with limitless possibilities on how to kill the enmy i.e MGS.

Tactical, but not like COD4 (single player), as it was very linear.
COD4 domination (HC) online is a bit better, as you have a bit more freedom as to how you get there.
More like the old rainbow six games, where the path you chose, actually made the difference to the missions outcome, unlike vegas, and stealth actually means stealth. Fire a loud shot and the hostages are dead.
The old R6 games were unforgiving. Get hit, and you're dead. Simple.
I'd like them to bring back a game like that.
Ghost Recon (PC version) was the closest and best one I'd played for quite a while.
Large maps, and very tactical.
