Worst by a million miles had to be Battlefield 3.

The best game I purchased this year is easily Yakuza 4, brilliant game.

All games I've bought this year been rather good though, so picking the worst purchase is rather hard to do. Well, Hunted: The Demon's Forge wasn't that great, but at the same time it was a gift and not a purchase

Best purchases: Skyrim, MW3, AC:R, ME:2, Puzzler World 2 (for iphone).

Worst purchases: UC:3, LA Noire, Splinter Cell HD, Brink, Homefront, KZ 3, Dead Space 2 (although i did enjoy Extraction).

Not really had the time to put into the other games i bought this year to decide if they warrant being on the Best/Worst list. Also may be getting Zelda in the coming weeks so hopefully that will be a "Best" purchase too.

Worst- MW3 Without doubth the worst MP in a COD game I have ever played.

Best: MW3, every COD since COD4 has been awful, MW3 is genuinly brilliant, a fun, well designed multiplayer, excellent survival and campaign

Worse: Skyrim, awful lag, couldn't play it for a week. There were not enough improvements from Oblivion, the animation was poor, the graphics were not as impressive as the trailer suggested.
