its fixed, so if you are otherwise keen to get it, dont wait 3 weeks..
Digital Foundry is a trusted source.
It is most definitley NOT fixed and if you head over to the official Bethesda forums you will see why...
People are still getting lag, getting freezes and PS3 resetting and a plethora of quest bugs that can't be fixed.
1.4 does massive improvements to Skyrim but in no way does it "fix" it...I awill wait till the LAST patch they do before I play it proper...

No problems here i have longer play time and larger save files which have been gradually shrinking than those reporting problems i bet a lot of them users didn't follow the patch note save file advice.

Indeed.
Whereas RimLag was affecting EVERYONE who reached a certain file save size, this is not the case following the latest patch.
It is now too random in who it affects to be the original memory saturation issue, there must be something else affecting peoples game files.
I was previously hit, prior to both Lag patches, with really poor fps, but following this patch I was able to play all day Sunday (from 10am to 11pm) with no fps hits like those I previously experienced. I did however, start to get minor freezes at random locations but they lasted no longer than 1 sec each time and were totally random.
My file save is now close to 16mb.
Skyrim is undeniably an odd beast, some people re-installing and starting over with a new save file are reporting RimLag and crashing, whilst others are playing fine. Although, so far this generation, that's the story of every Bethesda games released.

See i don't want to get into the game then problems start up. That ( from what i have read ) could be a game breaker for me.
