Hello, Ive just started playing through borderlands with that skinny sniper guy, but not getting on with him. All the enimies seem to be upclose all the time. If i shoot someone from far back its like someone else just constantly keeps respawning. So i want to change my charactor to the big bersurker guy. What i was wandering is. Will i change my charactor later on in the game or am i stuck with this guy. As i noticed the trophies said kill 15 enimies with each of the characters specials. Does this mean i have to start the game again with all characters anyway in which case i might as well just keep using my sniper guy. But want to use big guy now. Have got to far to start again :/

You will use the same character throughout and there are ample situations for sniping.  Enemies only respawn when you travel some distance away then return.

Hut's & caves etc will keep spawning enemies but there will be a limit.

nah, dont think there is an option to change character midway through, think youve just gotta start from level 1 with a new chap or chapette.

all the guys have good and bad points, theyre more useful when working together with others really as your team makes up for your players weaknesses. so in single player youll probably be hampered slighty by a characters negative points no matter who you pick.

Best advice is to get online and play with some buds.  Let them soak up the damage while you snipe from afar.  Or, get yourself a decent pistol and take the gunslinger feats...

Its a better game in co-op anyway to be honest.

My first playthrough was done with the sniper, and I completed the game easily with him. Just carry a mix of snipers & pistols, and don't be cheap on using grenades and your special pet. But of course getting a teammate is the way to go, I still play it occasionally, but only with headsets, otherwise too much time goes into texting. Feel free to add me if you like help, I'm slowly working on completing the game again with a different character and leveling my sniper up to level 69, but I probably won't be playing it again until early next week
