Re: Buying Retro Consoles?

To be honest I'm not sure but internet is the best place. Course places like Ebay are a good place to scout but seeing a picture is 1 thing getting the thing could be quite different. I'm sure there's a specilist website or infomation on a local branch.

Also I found in the local newpaper if you have a section that's a selling items place. They should have a gaming section that people fill up with alot of stuff like PS2/ Xbox with games ( E.G  Old ps2 with 5 games 1 controller and charge cable £80 ono. Call this number **********)

I'm currently looking to pick up a old PS2 and hopefully get my hands on TimeSplitters 1,2 and Future Perfect. I've budget myself around £120 for the lot.

Good luck in the hunt mate.

[ Edited ]

I woudn't call those consoles retro, I have those plus Atari Jaguar, Sega Dreamcast, Saturn, Panasonic 3DO..... plus some others, not forgetting a ColecoVision and Sinclair ZX80 now that's retro!

You can goto Cash Converters or Cash Generator online or in shop and pickup the consoles you want, best bet is to check online and see if it is sold in a store close to you, once you get there ask if they'll lower the price, a Gamescube costs £15, ask them if they'll sell it for £10, if not buy it for £15, a smart manager or sales person will want to clear old stock that has been sitting there for a LONG TIME.

btw.... GC £15 PS2 £20-£30

Re: Buying Retro Consoles?

I still have my Atari 2600 (with wooden fascia) with loads of games and controllers but I would never sell it.
