Buying games from PSN store previously owned on disc

Hi there,

Just a quick question from a relative novice.

I previously owned Call of Duty MW2 on PS3, yet the disc unfortunately no longer works and is beyond repair. Still keen to play the game but not particularly keen on starting the online stuff again from scratch, is there anyway I could purchase the full game from the PSN store and still get it to recognise my old ranking/weapons etc?

Any help appreciated.

MW2 mp ranks/unlocks are stored online so it'll all still be there when you go online.

If the disc has just stopped working due to an unknown reason and not you causing it damage try contacting Activision, they may replace the disc for you

You should not have any problems, as Moriarty has said, your data i all saved online so you will just be able to carry on from where you left off.
