Calling Sony now, PS3 worryingly loud :s

for the past few days, the ps3 has reached high level fan noise..whys this?

Prob just cos of the hot weather., try to keep it out of direct sun light.

The hot weather would of caused this, my fan was been louder too, its a good thing

Mine does the same, during play the fan will go high and stay high.  I tryed putting a fan around the back to cool it down but it was the same, maybe if I boot up the ps2 with the fan on?

My has randomly become VERY loud on 3 occasions, I called Sony and they said as long as the game is not affected it's not a fault and not to worry.

 

I guess it's just a safety measure if the console 'thinks' it's getting hot inside itself.  I moved mine away from my Dolby amplifier as that thing is like a radiator!
