There's not much unfortunately on the ps3  

Eternal Sonata is one

I know its not really a ps3 game but there is FFVII on the Store

There's also Sacred 2

and Demon's souls however Demon's souls is not out here and is only out in japan at the moment but has an english option

No he won't Fallout is TERRIBLE in comparison to the imenseness of Oblivion. There are only 12 sidequests in fallout And they all last 5-10 minutes.

 

Get Oblivion GOTY, the shivering isle's is a good add on, quite a bit to do there!

He's already got it and wants a futuristic version of oblivion (kinda) which is fallout 3. I'll admit it's not as good IMO but something to fill the void and the DLC packs are coming soon

Fallout 3 should be right up your street, White Knight Chronicles is coming out soon but as with Eternal Sonata (good game) it isn't futristic. Maybe also consider Valkrie Chronicles it has guns and tanks and things but isn't really futuristic but still worth a look.

Fallout 3 doesnt have just 12 sidequests. It has 12 main sidequest, then loads of mini sidequests which arnt recorded on the pIpboy. So you just have to remember them. Most are just fetch this. fetch that etc though. Superb game. DLc is brill on PC.( Point Lockout the best) Not sure what to pick out of this or oblivion though. tough choice.

i would have to say Fallout 3 also!

but if you are going to get this, id wait till the GOTY comes out

if you cant wait you can always get the DLC from the store when it comes out

Futuristic RPGs are so underdone.... that is really gutting!

Ok, so there is Fallout 3 GOTY.... what about Far Cry? Is that RPG or FPS because a couple of places are saying RPG and others FPS? Sorry to be pain...
