I was playing multiplayer on MW 2 the other day with a mate of mine when he told me about the javelin glitch.  I did it ONCE, just to see what actually happened then after the game i got a message from some goody two shoes saying I had been reported to IW.  He then sent another message saying my account was being monitored for the next fortnight and I would be banned at the end of it for glitching ONCE.  He claimed to be a sony alpha tester, should I believe him or just ignore it and assume he has no life and complains for the sake of it?

Why would they monitor your account for a fortnight if they were going to ban you anyway, according to this 'alpha tester'

i've heard it was on the 360 they where banning people just

Yep complete rubbish. IW wouldn't tell him what action they would take (if any). If it was constant thing you were doing and several people reported you maybe,, but they wouldn't have a clue whats happening. Just PM back saying jog on.
