When i turn on my PS3 i hear the start up noise going "Brurruruururuuurrrr" that violin thing.

But i cant see anyting. I've tried taking out the cables but nothing.

This isnt good, as i've only had this new PS3 Slim for a few months.

What can i do to fix it??

Hold the power button for about 10 secs. It should give you another beep, and reset the video settings....

Same thing happened to me. It was my HDMI cable.

First you need to find out where the problem is.

Connect another unit to the same port on the tv using the same cable. If that works, then you can be reasonably sure that the problem is the PS3, and you should try resetting the video settings. If that doesn't work, then call Sony.

If other units won't work, then you need to find out if the problem is the cable or the tv.

Are there other in-ports in the tv you can use? Do you have another cable you could try?

Just eliminate possibilities by working systematically; post results if you don't know what to make of them. Oh, and you might want to ask these kinds of questions in the Technical Help section.

check the wire plugged on the tv if it dont work well go to a repairer see what they can do cant be very dear

i had tht problem but turned it out it was the cable no the actual ps3

I'd still give my method a go first though, as it's free

I had to do it twice, once when i switched from SD/HD TV, then once after using it on my Uncles TV. Same model tv, but a smaller size.

A hold of the power button and it was all sorted for me. Hope that works for you. If not, then try to replace the HDMI like these guys said.
