Games that become films haven't exactly had their reputation for being Oscar worthy, despite some being guilty pleasures to some of us (Street Fighter: The Movie anyone? ANYONE?)
Most would even say that the very notion of Mass Effect becoming a movie is ridiculous since the game is already overly cinematic and story driven.
Some of us among the community team were having a small discussion among us on "what if there were to be a movie" and started to think about which of the many Hollywood actors and actresses of past and present would be suited to playing some of the characters from the Mass Effect universe, hypothetically of course, since there are no plans for a movie production.
Now we want you in the community to tell us who you feel would play the parts of the key characters in an epic space film based on the series if it were to ever happen. The best cast chosen by us will then receive some great Mass Effect 3 prizes!

Competition Terms & Conditions
- The Mass Effect Casting promotion (the “Promotion”) is open to residents of UK & Ireland aged 16 years or over.
- To enter this Promotion, entrants must:
(i) Go to their local language forum at http://community.eu.playstation.com/playstationeu (“the Forum”);

(v) Post the names of the actors or actresses that they would cast to play key parts in a Mass Effect film.
- Registration for PSN is subject to acceptance of the PSN Terms of Service and User Agreement and PSN Privacy Policy.
- The opening date is 2/05/2012 at 09:00a.m. (BST) and the closing date is 08/05/2012 at 11:00p.m. (BST).
- All entries must be original and the entrant’s own work (please click on the General Rules for further details). Entrants may enter the promotion only once and will only be eligible to win one prize.
- Entrants must adhere to the General Rules and in particular, to sections 7 and 8. In addition, entries must not contain any (i) pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit imagery, (ii) abusive, offensive or hateful imagery or language, (iii) harassing or defamatory content, (iv) content that compromises the privacy or safety of yourself or others, (v) content that demeans a particular gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, ethnicity or nationality, (vi) violent or dangerous behaviour, and/or (vii) spam, advertising or other commercial activities.
- Following the closing date, the judge(s) will select 6 winners who they consider have submitted the most interesting answers.

- The winners will be notified by e-mail within 2 weeks of the closing date and will be given 4 weeks to claim their prize.

Whilst I am not keen on CGI characters EDI would be hard to pull off the perfection of her curves and the overall look and feel of an artificial lifeform. I Robot managed an AI quite well and effects have moved on alot since then. Also no reason to change from the game her once again as the character would be CGI
