Continuous Play question

Hi I have a question about my continuous play coverage, I've done a quick search but been unsuccessful. I have a launch day 60gb and had no problems with it what so ever, and still have coverage from continuous play before they stopped taking new customers on etc. My question is... I'm running really low on memory on my 60gb and was thinking about attempting to install extra hdd but don't know much about this. Does anybody know if I do this will I still be covered under my cp insurance? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated :smileyhappy:

Re: Continuous Play question

Yeah, you will still be covered. But hang on to your original 60Gb HDD as they will ask you to put it back in if you ever need to make a claim.

Re: Continuous Play question

I don't think it's covered anymore.. think you best ring them to make sure.

Its definitely still covered. Changing your HDD in no way voids your warranty or insurance cover.

You're covered if you upgrade your HDD, Sony designed the PS3 to be upgradable.  All you have to do is place the original HDD back in the system if you claim on the policy and get an exchange.

Just had my launch 60gig replaced (twice) and got a new controller of them too.....nice people at CP, so glad i got the policy before they stopped it.

Re: Continuous Play question

I know sony designed the ps3 to be upgradeable, but sony don't provide the insurance.

Anyways.

Can't see it being an issue anyway, but i would still check, I've got continuous play and wouldn't want any come backs if push came to shove, is all i am saying :smileyhappy:
