Controller Gone Bad

Recently for some reason my original controller went bust..so I thought I'd easily fix that and get a brand new one. Is there something you have to do with new controllers? Because this one does not charge at all..all the wires are in but it won't ever charge..so I've been unable to play free handed like I'd like to. The other part is when there's a noticable vibration the controller disconnects and won't work until I press the PS button. But it's just ridiculous..I play GTA IV..everytime I would use a shotgun it would disconnect..if I go over a bump in the road..disconnect..if I crash with impact..it will disconnected. It's constantly stopping like that.

Is there something you have to like register with new controllers? Or have I just got a naff one here?

Thanks.

Re: Controller Gone Bad

It looks to me like your (new?) controller is bust - mos probably battery or it's lead is disconnected. If it's under warranty get it replaced. To Pair the new controller to your PS3 all you need to do si to plug it in using the cgarge cable and press PS button.
