Re: Controllers Pairing !!

random guess - do you have a slim perchance?

there are a few threads about the problem, with various things to try that may work for a short time.

* YLOD? * *PSN Connection Problems?* *Blu Ray Problems

And we weren't even testing for that..

Re: Controllers Pairing !!

just link the pad with the console through the charging cable and it will work just fine : )

It's a common problem with all PS3 slim users since Firmware 3.10, for me it sometimes works normal, then sometimes it messes up again..

here's how i fix the problem...  Turn the PS3 Unit off from the 'power button' and press the 'reset button' on the back of the controller (you will need a pin or something),  then simply turn the PS3 Unit on from the 'power button' and press the 'PS button' in the centre of your controller.

I hope this helps

Re: Controllers Pairing !!

Hi try this, this is what Sony technical advised me to do and had no problems since, 1. turn system off to standby (RED LIGHT), 2. hold power button down until you hear 3 beeps including the one when you first touch button, PS3 should go back to stanby after third beep, 3. hold power button down until you hear 4 beeps including the one you hear when you first touch button this should bring up a new menu called safemode, select option 3 only and follow on screen information this will not affect any of your game save files but will inform you that there is a corrupt file (off last update) and will remove it and hopefully like me have no further problems all being well.I had to do this myself or if I returned PS3 to Sony its all they were going to do.

Hope it helps

Owen

Re: Controllers Pairing !!

Sony should release a statement there are far too many people with this issue since the update.
Mankind must put an end to war or war will put an end to mankind
