Obliviously this is a massive problem. When entering my card details I get the following message:
"The credit card information cannot be updated please check the information on record and the usage status of your credit card, and then try again in a few days"
This few days thing is especial depressing. I have used the card before on the store about four times now, last one being just before Christmas. I haven't updated my credit card info since then so that's probably the problem. I do think the issue might be that I tried to use those card details to pre-order journey this morning via my North America account. As I am based in the UK it didn't work
Any ideas on the problem or how to sort it.

Your trying a UK Credit Card on a US account?
Not sure how you managed it befor but that option is blocked by sony.

Im having the same problem and ive always used a uk debit card so it cant be the uk us thing! Im realy frustrated as i was able to buy ssx on tour on saturday, then when journy, a game ive been wanting for ages comes out, it dosnt bloody work. Sort it out sony your customer service cred is already on thin ice and to be honest you need the brownie points

And ofcourse after typing my previous message my ps3 froze and had to do the corrupted data scan( for the umpteenth time after the new update for the browser). I tried after that to delete my card details and re enter them-bad move- and now it says it wont recognise my card as its invalid. Under the advice of another forum where it seems lots of others are having the credit card problem i was told its my bank,not so! Just rang my bank and they say theyve had a few calls regarding sony and its DEFINATLY A PROBLEM WITH SONY! Why havnt we been made aware of this? I WANT A RESPONSE FROM A MODERATER ASAP OTHERWISE THERE MAY BE A LITTLE "BOX" WITH A MUCH BETTER SERVICE IM GOING TO GO TO! FOR THE LOVE OF PETE I JUST WANA BUY JOURNEY, I WANT TO GIVE SONY MONEY BUT THEY WONT HAVE IT!!!

I love my ps3 and realy want Journey but due to a problem with sony i cant play it! A mod is the only person that can give advice as there seems to be no way of getting in touch with sony direct! No email address no contct numbers nothing! Its just very very poor service

go into the instruction manual of any game and at the back is a contact number for sony
Or that other wonderful thing called Google.

i tried everithing already call sony, call bank, call visa, change my ps3 change my visa card nothing work no answer from sony 1 year past already no answer
