Deactivating all accounts from PSN account.

How can I go about doing this, some problems have occured between PS3 owners and I need to do a grand reset of all people who can play games using my PSN (5 has been reached). Do I have to ring Sony Customer Services or anthing?

Sorry about making 3 different threads in about 5 minutes, but they were all different issues, and thanks for any help!

Erm ... all you need to do is change your password and then only you will be able to play using your PSN ID

Hello bud all you have to do is go to account management and deactivate account. Do this on all the machines you no longer want to log onto.  If you have had the bad luck of your PS dying you will need to ring Sony to deactivate the old system

Re: Deactivating all accounts from PSN account.

even if people deactivate your account that still counts as 1 of the five activations as far as i am aware. It was like that for me anyway, so when my ps3 broke i was not able to download anything from my new 1 even tho my friend deactivated the account. you have to do what Dwadly said if you have that issue, ring sony and ask them to refresh your account. they dont like doing this often so you might have to battle with them. :-)

Re: Deactivating all accounts from PSN account.

no you do not want to deactivate them mate, you want to ask sony to REFRESH your account so its back to normal. Just be honest with them and say you shared your account and things aint worked out with them people and now you cant download anything to your new ps3. as i said they arnt happy to refresh the accounts though.

Will try this thanks.

Where can I find contact details for Sony? Can I send an email instead of talking over the phone?

Re: Deactivating all accounts from PSN account.

You have to do it over the phone as I tried doing it by email and they just send you an email back telling you to call them due to it being PSN account related

Grr, some Indian guy told me that they couldn't do it, and i've have to deactivate the accounts off each PS3 which I think is beyond achievable. Great.
