Sony,

Can you please answer me this.... when are we going to get the update that allows us to stream the Free TV channels that you have available for your TV's and Blu Ray players, I am sure this was promised to us a long time ago and there have been many a update and I still haven't seen hair nor hide of this much wanted update.

Hi Mate,

I am from Australia and this link here is a feature that is available on most Sony TV's and all Blu Ray Players http://www.sony.com.au/microsite/iptv2/iptv_home.html They had said a while back that they would be releasing this ability on the Playstation but we have yet to see anything of it and that was almost 2 years ago, it was something that I was very much looking forward to on the Playstation and it would be awesome if we had it!

I have ABC & SBS channels on my Playstation 3 and most of the other channels you provided on my Sony Bravia TV.

yeah I work for JB Hi-Fi so I spoke to the Sony rep today and she made a few calls, apparently there is meant to be a big update for the PS3 in March that may have the IPTV update that allows us to get all those channels but she is not sure if it will effect the Gen 1 PS3's but it will effect the Gen 2's so here is to hoping for it to effect both
