I bought North American version copy of DS early last year and noticed that the games importing to Australia and New Zealand are European Version.

Is it worth to trade my NA version copy for it? Will Euro version have less lag than NA version for online games?

Any responses appreciated.

im not sure how much help i will be but i'll try, IIRC i read somewhere like on another forum that there will be euro servers im not to sure if in aus it will be any less laggy than the NA version. its really up to you i guess about trading it in, you might get a bit for it off ebay i don't think people know its being released cause ive seen the NA version still go for around $50 used (eventho the pal version is released in 2 days). You might want to wait a few days to see peoples reactions to the pal edition and euro servers.

The pal edition sounds great with every copy being the black phantom edition coming with: game, A5 hard cover art book, cd soundtrack and strategy guide, which are nice bonus. I myself pre-ordered it off game.com.au months ago it is $84 or EB Games has it on special at $77 on there website and i assume it will be available in stores at that price.

Did you enjoy DS enought to warrant you to purchase it again? only you can make that choice TC, goodluck with it.

Sorry for late reply and thanks for the explanation. Finished and liked DS so much and disappointed with player vs player online lag. Let me know if you have got around to play it online and how is it?

Going to trade in my NA version DS at EB games I hope I get a great deal.

You'll be lucky to get $10-20 for the NA version of Demon's Souls, if they accept it at all. If you really want the Australian version, I'm sure it'll be less laggy but really, the US version isn't too bad. It can sometimes get annoying when you get a lag spike during a black phantom invasion but I never had any huge troubles with my US version.

By all means, buy the AU version though. I have both.

My 2 cents on the game so far:

haven't played online yet, the game said the server didn't come up til june 25th. haven't gotten far either, due to the crushing difficulty. I basically went into this game with no idea what it was about (expect it being an rpg and hard). I chose a knight cos i liked their starting armor and what their about, 4 deaths and 2 hours later and not very far in might i add i started followed the little strategy guide that was include which said to choose a female royalty due to them being relatively noob friendly. By the time i customized my character and did the tutorial i gave up, so sooner or later im going to have to get back into it and persist with it so i can see what all the fuss is about.

I plan on buying this today. So feel free to add me anyone if you want to do mutiplayer. I'll need to spend some time in single player to get used to all. seems like a full on game.
