does anyone know a good and reliable one? i have to prove my ps3 was a hardware fault, i have been told i need to get a report from a electrical shop explaining that it is a hardware fault.  HELP pleaseeeeeeeeeee lol

Thanks for that mate... i have emailed asking if they can supply me with a report saying it is a hardware fault. i also emailed consolekingz and he said its probs the GPU and its most likley a hardware fault, he then said he cant supply a report for this though? has anyone had reports from anyone at all?

To get a report you need to send the console in to who ever you find. They will then find the fault and let you know what it is. But am guessing they will want money to do this.

it might help if you tell us (roughly) where you are - or if you are prepared to package your PS3 and send it off to someone

I doubt very much that any company would be prepared to give you a report without physically inspecting it

You almost certainly will have to pay for this, and the chances are probably slim that you would be able to claim the cost back (although I strongly suggest trying to, by telling the retailer that you will be doing so).

I think you would have to pay for this as well, it's a service that will mean the shop having to examine and dismantle your PS3 to verify the failure...

They won't send you a report without seeing your PS3, if they do and it turns out not to be a H/W fault then they would be liable.

oyea i know, i am willing to send it off so they can have a look at it, just wondeing if anyone has used one for this before.
