Ok, I mentioned this in another thread and LordRoss said I should create a thread about it.

Last night I was trying to find and re-download a game through my download list.... what a pain it was.  Took ages to search through it to find the particular game.

I was thinking that Sony should arrange the download list into smaller sub-sections:

Demos

Full Games

Playstation Plus

Themes

Videos

etc etc

I know that you can find the particular game/ demo/ whatever through the store and download that way, but I just feel it should be easier to find things through the download list.

Another change that could be useful would be the ability to delete old demos, perhaps after a certain demo has been on your list for a lenght of time, you should have the option to delete it.

Thoughts?  Discuss....

As you said in the OP, you can just search.

That's what I do if need be. I rarely ever use my download list.

I too wanted to have a sorting option on download list, I have a PSN+ USA account, and my gf a UK PSN+ one. Both of them with hundreds of downloads, I really wanted to sort out the list into alphabetical order AND grouping items into mini, PSOne, full PSN games, full PS3 games, DLC and other categories.
Also I think that the download list on VITA and PSP should be as clean as possible, removing the games and content that aren't compatible with them (or at least make this a options).

This would be an amazing feature. But at the moment they struggle getting the grammar/image formats/ general information/correct placing of content correct on the store, this would seem a long way off...

People have been asking for a filter on the download history for YEARS, myself included. I wouldnt hold your breath for any major changes to the store or how it functions.

I too would love a filter! I have hundreds of downloads in my list, and finding things is a real pain. Also, some of the content may no longer appear on the store, but are still in my download list, for example i believe some of the older FIFA demo's no longer are on the store, but are in the list to download. As someone mentioned, a Vita friendly option should be available too, as I have to trawl through hundreds of the downloads just to find the old PSP titles i downloaded!

And you cant actually search your download list as mentioned above, although you can search the store and try and find the content on their. The problem with this is that not all content can be found on the store, for example limited edition content, promotial stuff, beta's etc

I have close to 1000 items in my download list now, including PS3, PSP and Vita items, and its a bloddy nightmare

This is ever more important when I have had the YLOD that did forcably delete my data. having a simplified sorted function of only content I have would be great. being able to prioretize what i want back is so much better if it was sorted. my first game I tryied to play was ff13-2 which my save file had all of the dlc so i couldn't play my file till i had them all downloaded first.

as a side note within these categories, who wants a "download all", and a "download all to background" this I think would be powerful and better than selecting one at a time.
