Re: Dragon Age Fans?

I absolutely love the Dragon Age series. I think Origins is the best of the two because the experience seemed a lot richer, and the main story was more enjoyable. I preferred the characters in Origins, can't get much better than Alistair! Some of his dialogue was hilarious. I need to replay Origins again soon, I've forgotten parts of it and I feel I need to refresh my memory.

Re: Dragon Age Fans?

The dragon age series is epic. I picked up the new game of thrones this week and although it's not as polished it reminds me so much of DA. It's like a tweener before DA3

Re: Dragon Age Fans?

Cool guys, was beginning to feel like the only person interested in those games anymore :smileyhappy:, although I do agree that Origins was perhaps the best game I have played this gen, no other game has kept my attention as long as DAO :smileyhappy:

Everything was perfect from the characters to the soundtrack near flawlees game in my opinion :smileyhappy:

does anyone know if the origins add ons are worth the money? i.e. are they lenghty quests?

It's definitely worth it, especially if you can get your hands on the Ultimate Edition.

Have they fixed the ultimate edition then? i remember the DLC pack "return to Ostagar" not being accesable on disk. I'm not sure whether it was a bad batch of disks or what but I knowe my copy didn't have "RTO" on it (luckily i already had so it wasn't a big deal).

Either way, if you get the UE then have to buy the "RTO" dlc on top of that.. it's still worth it.

The expansion, DA:awakening is a good 20 hours long so you're getting at least 70 hours of gameplay for less than the price of a cod game,. ya cannae grumble :smileyhappy:

Re: Dragon Age Fans?

my only beef with dragon age is that the only way to store your items somewhere was by buying a DLC pack, apart from that very good series.
