well, it seems as if one of my DS3 controllers has bitten the dust. Everything works fine aside from the left stick, which now seems to continually work as if it is being pressed forward constantly. So any characters move forward constantly, and it scrolls up menus unstoppably.

any idea what the problem is or if theres a fix?

A friend had the same problem, he ended up buying a new controller as it drove him crazy. It's caused by the wear 'n tear of gaming.

Don't really know if/how you can fix it yourself. Unless you know what you're doing, I wouldn't bother with it and get a new controller.

One of my original DS3's did that too, like the advice above I whacked it on a solid surface and it seemed to free the left stick although it didn't last that long before the whole stick just gave up. Might be time to save for a new DS3, I think the Bargain Bin thread had a link for one for £25ish the other day

You could try opening it up and saying if it's all clogged up with dust and stuff, worth a try.

Otherwise , if it's really bothering buy a new one, there's a link in the bargain bucket for cheap!

thats cheap, i paid about 28.98 for mine off shopto.
