DualShock 3 PS button LED mod

[ Edited ]

today i have modded mine and my brothers dualshock 3's with the ps buttin LED mod.

finally done it all but when i soldered the dualshock motors back on i noticed on my controller the vibration is quite weak but my brothers is fine.

Re: DualShock 3 PS button LED mod

It is a bright LED but its not bright in an annoying way. It dunt bother me.

I had bought some blue player 1234 LED's aswel but I had a practice at removing an LED on one of my old sixaxis pads and there's no way I'm attempting to fit them to my DS3. They are microscopic and very easy to melt.

Gunna take the controller appart later n av a butchers see if u can solve it

haha you gone for the ultra blue one then.

well guys, found out why the vibration was weak. i had put the motors on the wrong sides.

but bad news. my crap soldering skills have done my controller in. i messed up on the solder joints and ended up frying the circuit board so the motors dint work at all and the controller was playing up and acting like i was pressing all the buttons.

ah well new DualShock 3 ordered from spopto for under £30 and a very big lesson learnt.

i will never be attempting anything like that again, i shal be getting my new pad and not messing with it.

my brothers is ok though.
