WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!   ^^ This guy speaks the truth! Wouldnt be a 1st EA have ripped people off, they released a few un-playable games, Sims3, a footy game (Fifa09? 10? dno) Mercenarys 2, all broken and not fixed!

Maybe you should read the EA small print in the futer before purchasing an EA game via PSN. The print states, (EA has the right to give 30 days notice to withdrwal online services) Made me think twice alright before buying Need for speed Shift last week. Maybe you should start taking heed of that small print too before jumping head 1st into purchasing an EA game for some online fun.

It seems logical for them to shut down online servers for older games that would only affect a certain group of people, rather than a newer game where it affects a bigger group. But surely they should just upgrade and buy new servers so they can run both.

Some of those games are less than 2 years old, seems very soon to be shutting down the servers for them.

Really, then that should not be happening, because thats stupid you buy a game one year and pay for the game which comes with online included and in two years time you can't play online. Its like buying a brand new computer and only being able to access the desktop.

This is why online games are more important day one purchases before single player only games.

Why would you want to but a 3, 2 or 1 year old multiplayer game in the first place that's obviously going to be dead, or about to be closed down!?

Agreed.

Maybe a peer to peer server should be put into place after 9 months to a year afterwards..........but then again, companies want us to BUY the newest update to their games, hence the EA server kill off I suppose.
