Erm Help

Well got my PS3 :smileyvery-happy: now set it up for my TV at mums house, now have taken it round my dads and it wont show a pic through HDMI got sound on one attempt but other than that nothing. Any ideas? Thanks.
My setup: Downstairs LG LF66 42", LG 5.1 700w.
Upstairs 32" 1080i, Xbox 360 Elite, PS3 80GB (soon to be 250 or 320).

When you start it up or turn it off I tried it when I turned it off but it just went straight off.

 

My setup: Downstairs LG LF66 42", LG 5.1 700w.
Upstairs 32" 1080i, Xbox 360 Elite, PS3 80GB (soon to be 250 or 320).

Yeah hold down the power button wen the PS3 is already in standby, you will hear 2 beeps. This will reset all audio/video output settings. If you see a recovery menu, you held the button down too long, you should try agian if you see that screen.
