Re: FAT32? i got exFAT?

My advice is to not use Vista to format your disk !

There are lots of boot CDs available that do disk management (some legal, some not quite so legal).   the ultimatebootcd has good support forums, and will format a disk easy enough.

Re: FAT32? i got exFAT?

[ Edited ]

Give this a go:

Click start

Type cmd and hit enter

Type "format E /fs: fat32 " (without the quotes)

Hit enter

REMEMBER TO CHANGE "E" TO WHATEVER THE DRIVE LETTER IS ON YOUR USB DRIVE!!!

(oh and I can't remember if it's a / or a \ before fs so try both if one doesn't work.
