Re: FAT32? i got exFAT?

Go to command prompt (Start>Run, then enter cmd in the prompt and press enter)

Type Format X: /FS:FAT32 [Enter] (where X is the drive letter of your hard-disk)

There'll then be a warning saying all data will be erased if you continue. Press y [Enter] to continue.

It'll take a few minutes depending on the size of the drive.

See if you can now access your drive in windows explorer. If not, you may need to use a program called formatfat32 (I had to when I formatted mine).

http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?fat32format.htm

Unzip to the C: drive and in Command Prompt type

CD\ [Enter] (to navigate to the C: root)

FormatFat32.exe X: [Enter] (again where X is your hard-drive letter).

This should only take a few seconds, but after that my drive was accessible from both my PC and PS3.

Good luck

Re: FAT32? i got exFAT?

exFAT means your hard drive went on a diet and lost weight.  Sorry...

Yeah its a limitation of FAT32 Architecture, thats why they have exFat(FAT64). Similar to 32-bit operating systems only being able to address 4GB overall memory
