How do fellow forum people!

I wonder if anyone can help me.

The other day I fancied a go on Fifa 08 so went to get it out of its case. When I pressed the button to release it from its case the disc didn't release properly and put a crack the disc from the hole in the center about a centimeter long.

Does anyone know of a way I can get this sorted without paying the £10 that EA Games wants to replace it?

Theres no way to fix a crack, be more careful next time, 10 quid for a replacement is a bargain.

Ring sony, say it was the PS3's fault and they should do something.

Can't take it back. Had it since release. As for being more careful, it was a freak accident. Never happened to me before. I don't spend £40 on something to treat it carelessly.

Id say better of getting the replacement from EA for £10, much cheaper than having to buy a new one in your local game shop. Besides, I think the last thing we need is game crackers taking over the market and ruining the experience for all. If we like a game, best give it its face value in return for the effort that was put into it...

Well i'm not against paying the £10 that EA want, but if I can get out of paying it I will - as anyone would. I was on hold with Sony for ten minutes before my phone died. Grr.
