I shut down my PS3 using the PS button and after it had shut down I needed to turn it back on, to which I did, however after the start up screen it came to an error thing saying that my "File system and storage is corrupted, the system will not be restored" but I only had the option of "OK", it was different from the 2 - 3 hour restoration where you could press back/cancel and just start the PS3 normal. I have restored the PS3 3 times now and it still comes up with the same thing after the start up and I have no idea what to do, please help me with any ideas it would be much appreciated and I thank you all in advance

(P.S. I have tried restarting and reseting it before and during the restoration process, non worked.)

have you tried the recovery menu and reinstalling the latest firmware?

if after that and it still wont work,its most likely that its the actual hdd thats snookered..

There are a few options on the Recovery menu, if the reinstall firmware doesn't work always try the rebuild database/ repair file system

None of the options in the Safe Mode work, are there any other suggestions?

1st you hold ps3 button until the 3rd beep. Then the only way I think is to delete everything I think it's number 6. You will know what I'm talking about when you try it
