Re: For those who refused to pay £11.99 for fat princess

Jericho is a disaster of a game Firefox. It actually gave me headaches - it's a turkey shoot and it's attempts at scares are unintentionally funny.

Can't comment on the other two as I gave them a wider berth than a Michael Bay movie.

This is the point was making. With the number of great and cheap disc-based games that can be picked up for £10 new, and will probably last much longer than fat princess; no downloaded game is worth £12. They need to start pricing their games relative to everything else, because whilst shop-bought games have fallen in price dramatically; if anything, the store has gotten more expensive.

Except WipEout HD. Other than that, I agree so far. Maybe in the future, more downloadable games will be worth £12-£15.

I agree about wipeout.

I also wrote somethign very similar to this in another thread, although was careful to add the caveat "almost no DL game is worth £12", in this case I see people got arsey about it, but my point still stands, the £12 is generally better spent on a disc-based game that has more content.

As for Warhawk being worth it's money; that's personal opinion, I though it was complete dross, definitely not worth £20. Good concept, but rubbish to play.

Re: For those who refused to pay £11.99 for fat princess

Both Wipeout and Tekken were worth more than £12 to d/l imho. Hell, I would have paid that for SSHD which still remains the best online bargain by a country mile.
For the record, I'm not paying £7.99 for the Wipeout Fury upgrade, as the game itself only cost £13. A fiver would have been a more reasonable price.

Re: For those who refused to pay £11.99 for fat princess

I bought Far Cry 2 for £10 in BB.

Though it is still sat in the bag, on the kitchen table, along with Pacific Rift and SOCOM...

Curse impulse buying lol
