The figure for Gran Turismo Prologue is inaccurate. It's only 6GB for the Blu-Ray version. If you download it from the store (as I did) it's a 2.5GB mandatory install, going upto 3.5GB if you download the opening and ending movies. Obviously it'll go up further if you download the other movies (Nissan GT-R ones etc.)  however these are all optional (and deletable).
