I know the feeling. 15-20 minutes for a demo.

Re: Game downloads take forever from ps3 store

They take a long time for me too, always have from the store. My 20Mb Virgin Media connection speeds are fine in all other respects. Just the store. I've moaned about this many a time on the old forums. God knows why it's just the PS store. ANY demo, ANY time of day, always slow.

Then you get people like NCFCRulz2007 who download it in 10 minutes, how, just how?

Maybe it's to do with which provider your with and which ports they throttle?

Meh. Store itself is still reeeaaaalllllyyyyy sllloooowwwww (when are you sorting this out Sony?), but the downloads themselves? Not too bad actually. I only have a 1.5 meg connection cos I live in the sticks, but I don't get bad speeds. Grid'll take about an hour or so, which isn't bad for nearly a gig.
oh yeah the store itself sucks.
have to sit there while until it will let you click the button.
and then you have to wait before it'll let you start the download, then some more waiting before you can tell it to download in the background.
yet another classic example of an "upgrade"
the old store was quicker, and now for some reason everytime i go to the aus store it adds pro evo to my download list.
