So i went into GAME yesterday and they were selling second hand copies of FFXIII-2 for £27. I mean seriously? You can get the game brand new for £9.99. And the price of many of the other games were laughable,
I can understand that GAME cannot compete with supermarkets etc in terms of new game prices, but second hand games have nothing to do with this. They are just taking the absolute mick.
I would have thought that after all the stuff that has gone on with them they would have realised they need to lower their prices, or are the managers and executives at GAME the only people that don't realise this.
Personally I can see GAME having more major financial issues in the future as they seem to be back to their old pathetic greedy ways, and I get the impression that people are getting more wise with their money and shopping for the best deals online now.
Any thoughts?

High ST shops are NOT for people who have internet and can shop online.
There for MUMs, DADs and little Jonnny, that DONT have a clue what they are spending.
They just pickup and pay then leave.
HMV do the same were they can get away with it, due to no real other shops near by.
Distance to the next shop will ALLWAYS put these shoppers off seeing if there is another cheaper price else where.
This is there target shopper and there are Loads of them. These shoppers are what Keeps High street stores going. These users Don't want to Drive to the local post office to collect their goods as no one was home to sign for the box that was to big for the letter box.

A very logical answer. Gaming shops created for the unthinkable's and Zombies. People that walk into a shop, buy stuff and afterwards wonder what the heck they've just bought.

My dad was in there the other day picking me up Sniper Elite V2 for my birthday and he said the prices were ridiculous on new and preowned games. Some games were going for their full £55 RRP. Sniper Elite V2 was £42.99 (tis £29.99 online???) in there, but £34.99 in HMV, so he got it there. They're difinitely not gonna survive with in-store prices like this; I think they're gonna end up an online only store.

I have a sneaky feeling GameStation ripped my mum off today. I asked her to pick me up Ghost Recon today as I don't have time to go and get it my self. So I printed the cover off for her and gave her the money. She come back with the Signature Edition for £45!!!. I printed the normal edition cover off and she said she showed the guy the print off and he gave her the signature edition.
It is my fault sort off I should of known about the signature edition. But the staff at GameStation should of just gave her the normal edition since she showed them the picture of the normal edition. They must still be in trouble if there desperate to rip someone off by £5.
