we are nearly into the 7 month of the year, i know there hasn't been that much in the way of what i would call top titles so far, which is normal but wondered what people thought their best game was they have spent their hard earned cash on...

For me after only having the game for a day so far my favourite is Lego Batman 2.

its brilliant, its amazing how adding the voices as made a difference to the game. the humour is there as usual and the graphics for me have stepped it up a notch.

i wasnt that keen on Ghost Recon (hugely disappointed in it)

i would agree its been a bad year so far for games im surprised at your lego batman choice, il look forward to my nephews review on it as he got it for his birthday the older nephew is after the new assassins creed game but i got bored after the 2nd game, found it pretty boring looking for feathers.

Max Payne 3 is probably my game of the year so far but I thought that was only decent at best. After finishing Dark Souls earlier in the year I'm having a hard time enjoying most single player games because the majority seem rubbish in comparison.

well done on finishing dark souls, the plat is WELL worth it, Dark Souls and Demon's before it are 2 of the best games of this millenium, SOOO immersive, great combat, options to attack and they make you think, very atmospheric too! I'm getting mass effect 3 soon, looking forward to that, by what I've read I'm expecting a great game!

im not sure why people rate dark souls so highly, i wouldn't rate a game so highly with the issues it has, i thought demon souls was far better and more bug free.

Darkness 2 for me. It's one of my favorites of all time on ps3.
Great story, great artwork, great controls and most importantly, so much fun

Max Payne 3 so far for me... sure, there's not much variety in the gameplay, and the cutscene sequences might be a bit nausea inducing for some (along with there being too much of it)... but the production and quality of the game is top notch...
